Terms of Service

1. The service

Alfie Post lets you plan, schedule and publish content to social media accounts you connect, currently Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages. Publishing relies on third-party platforms whose features, limits and availability are outside our control.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
• Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions, trials and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

• Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, and you'll be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
• Plan limits (such as the number of connected channels) are described on our pricing page.
• You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
• Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Connected accounts and third-party platforms

When you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, you authorize us to access it through Meta's official APIs, only as needed to publish the content you schedule and to show basic account details in Alfie Post. You must have the right to manage any account you connect, and you must follow the terms and community guidelines of each platform, including Meta's Terms of Service and Platform Terms.

Alfie Post is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Platforms may change or restrict their APIs at any time, which can affect features of the service.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit it solely to operate the service, such as storing media and sending it to the platforms you choose. You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to publish it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Alfie Post to:

• publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful or harassing;
• send spam or engage in inauthentic behavior or platform manipulation;
• access accounts you're not authorized to manage;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put the service or other customers at risk.

7. Availability

We work hard to publish every post on time, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that a platform will accept every post. If publishing fails, we'll show you the reason so you can retry.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination we delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or reach. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts.
